I’m sorry guys. For all of you that have visited the site all this year, you’ll know how my computer crashed in about April. It was months without an update, and well, now it happened again. I guess a virus/hacker got into my computer and it just crashed this weekend so I wasn’t able to update today. I need Photoshop. I have never had the program so I want to ask for it for Christmas, but..I’m not sure what I’ll do in the mean time. The Photoshop I’ve had was a trial. It was a trial that just happened to replace my other permanent version that I had and it stayed. Now I’m trying to download another trial but I need a serial code and I don’t have one..so if you have any advice, let me know. But I’ll work on it this weekend so I can try and update next weekend. Thanks for understanding! By the way, I think I’ll get a new computer anyway :]

i use photofiltre, which is a free download
it doesn’t have as much as photoshop
but it will definitely hold you over till christmas
it hasn’t caused my computer any problems and i’ve had it for two years.

omg! if you need help making guides i can until your computer gets back up and running again! i have photofiltre and it is just asgood as photoshop and i can make the guides nad u can email me the matches or i can match them myself ! please take this into cnsideration and let me help you make guides or somehing! so people wont complain.

Aww. I am SO SO SO sorry Britney that it happened again. I use GIMP, Paint and PSP so I don’t think that will help. Best of luck. But, good thing you did staff app.

i have had mine for almost a year and i havent had one problem with it (unlike my pc lol)

i agrre with beth, some of us rely rely on this site and its extremely frustrating when u dont update. You shouldnt own this site. You are a terrible updater and i wont be returning to this site ever again!

Hey, Maybe the virus came from donwloading photoshop ?! Anyway i usually use paint, but you could try donwloading macromedia firworks trail versoin, but you need to have paint to convert in JPG format!! But its really good (not as good as photoshop)! Hope This Helps!! x

Can i just say that i think that all the people on the site who criticize the staff are ridiculously rude. You guys are having a go at someone who as far as i can see spends all her spare time making guides for this website, and people are moaning at her for doing her homework instead of updating this site! It is a big commitment but i think shes doing a bloody good job of it, and i think that alot of people are appreciating how much time it must take to update this site regularly. I know i personally would not be able to update even as often as the staff on this site do if i was in control. Tbh, if you dont like ‘how little’ they update, go find a different site, that i bet wont be as good!!
I have been checking this site a little in the past couple of months and reading some of the posts and comments, and it seems all Britney does is apologise to you people, and all alot of people do is complain to her!!
So i finally decided to post a bit of a complaint to you people instead of her!! Britney you are doing a great job, and alot of people will enjoy your site no matter how often you update, and its good that you put your schoolwork and social life ahead of a web site!! Keep up the brilliant work but don’t worry so much about the site, those who don’t like it will complain however much or little you update!!

and COREL PAINT SHOP PRO X works amazing, it’s like $80 … BUT you can do the trail veirson for 30 days ! .. but it really works good (:

aww man I’m sorry Britney! I think everyone should be thankful that we aren’t going to go through months without an update!!!! Don’t listen to Beth because it is so hard to maintain a site like you have wonderfully! Look at over the 500 guides there are! I think that is responsible! People forget that you don’t have to do this, it’s not your job, you do this out of your own time for us! How many of you guys are committed to something that you don’t have to do enough that you do it every day? That’s what Britney does! Be happy the site isn’t closing down! seriously, try balancing school, life, time to yourself, and this site. i know how long these things take.. i’m in computer graphics class at my school and these things take HOURS on end.
people should be greatful and saying that they are not going to visit this site anymore is a lie.. we all know they will come back to see guides and such or see people’s responses to their comments.
so i agree with katie. honestly, you people don’t know how hard something is until you try it youself!
maybe, britney could get someone else to help her with the site and owning it who has photoshop!

Everyone should stop being extremely rude. i mean, i go on this site EVERYDAY looking for more updates, & i thought something might have happened. but its life, and things dont always go as planned. Britney should be applauded for an excellent job on this site. It takes so much time and effort and she tries to make us all happy, i know i am- especially when i found a shirt miley wore that i was looking for for several months and finally went on this site and found it! People who look at this site should appreciate the person who made this site, you just dont make the site and let it update itself. updating takes hours to do, and finding the stuff that miley wore is kind of hard to find. so if we dont have an update for a few more weeks its ohkay, bcos britney deserves a little break!

Some of you guys need to chill. There’s over 500 guides to look at, making this site have the most guides. Obviously you don’t use every guide, so why do you need so many updates?

DUUUUUDE you people who say you “rely rely on this site” need to UNGLUE YOURSELVES FROM THE FREAKIN’ COMPUTER SCREEN (not to mention LEARN HOW TO SPELL)! Everybody seems to expect things to happen immediately nowadays and if they don’t agree with the pace at which things are moving, they sit and whine and complain. This site is a give AND take site – not just one where you only take and then feel you have the right to complain when you haven’t given anything (such as PATIENCE and TIME)…
…and out of curiosity, how do you ‘leave’ a site? As far as I know, there is no way of knowing the names of who exactly comes to this site…
…and although you say you are ‘leaving’ this site (whatever that means), you probably will come back. But hey, how will anyone know? Basically what I’m saying is that by posting that you’re ‘leaving’ this site and “wont be returning to this site ever again!” is completely, utterly pointless…

I’m really sorry to hear about your computer.
People don’t understand how much things you lose and how hard it is to have to buy a bunch of new stuff.
My brother got me photoshop for free somehow last August, but unfortunately, I’m not sure how and he doesn’t use it anymore.
Sorry if I didn’t help, I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your hard work despite your school work. And people need to understand that you actually have a life as well. You want to have fun and hang out with friends, but instead people are getting mad at you for not updating all the time. It’s not like you get paid for this!

and everyone bitching about how you never update & are irresponsible are so stupid.
you update plenty, you update amazing. i really appreciate all the work you put into this site, it must take HOURS.
and doing keeping up with school? people need to chill. viruses cannot be controlled, neither can hackers. just ignore all the negativity, if they “leave the site” we don’t want them here anyway.
but in all reality, they will probably check back every week secretly hoping you’ve updated because youre so AMAZING.
oh, and i agree with the person who said you should get a mac. they never get viruses! i have a pc and a mac and i literally want to throw my windows software against the wall. macs function sooo much smoother and are lots more fun (:

I use gimp for my guides and it’s really good. Don’t use photofiltre and paint, it’ll mess up the graphics. Gimp is easy to use, free and amazing. For examples you can visit my site. I made you an elite on my site so if you want any help then please let me know.

Hey When you get your new computer you should try online backup. I have it for mine and its great. If your computer ever crashes again all of your files are saved and so are your programs. Plus you have a company that does basically everything for you so its really easy. Think about it!

Britney does try her hardest to update this site as often as possible and she does admit that she is sorry for not updating, but i know i would put education before this site just like briteny does!
The people who do complain that she doesn’t update often enough are just being selfish and impacient(dnt no if i spelt that write!!)
I say keep up the good work Britney and don’t let people who complain get you down, education should come first as this site won’t possibly bring you a future like education does!!

sorry about the crash! i have a way that you can get photoshop, but it’s a little risky, and illegal haha. if you go on youtube and type in photoshop for free, there should be a whole bunch of videos that pop up with links for it.
basically what you do is download the trial of photoshop, then download the crack file and replace the photoshop icon in the program files with the crack file, and you should have it after that! hope it works! oh and after you do this, DON’T UPDATE IT!! it’ll completely undo the whole crack file, so keep it with this version! good luck!
